My esteemed audience,

For your kind information, my Scottish adventures are not yet completed – I have many more fascinating legends to share with you all. I find it hard to keep it simple because I enjoy writing so much.
The act of writing is a relaxing method to invest myself creatively in doing what I love, which is expanding my knowledge and perfecting my English skills. It is the most resourceful opportunity I have found to keep track of my progress in all areas of life through time.

It must be that introvert aspect of my Gemini personality that is outshined through this particular creative endeavor, but I find much confort in expressing myself by the power of the written word.

Writing is, nevertheless, one of the most effective tools of manifestation – just think about it – because even though I am reflecting on my memories, I am symbolically rewriting my past in the same time, which also conditions how I will present the memories in the future.
And that is by all means true – a solid proof the past, present and future exist in the same time, a fact scientifically proven by Quantum Physics, although my mind is not searching for evidence, but rather sensing information with my soul.

My fascination for the extraordinary is so deep that I avoid demystifying it – I just trust my intuition when I feel something is right.
As solemn as it might seem, I will invest my spiritual legacy further in the upcoming Grace posts, as soon as I complete my mission with proof of my vision towards the majestic value which visiting Scotland added to my life.

We will start this new journey with “just a few words” about Glasgow.
Glasgow is world renowned for its art, architecture and culture, with more than 20 museums, most of which offer free admission to the general public.
It hosts three world class universities within a three mile radius and over 90 green spaces throughout the city which explains the Gaelic meaning behind the city’s name: ‘dear green place’.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Just when you probably thought the Royal Endeavors – Scotland adventures got all of my creative juice flowing while enchanting your perception in my previous yet marvelous episodes, I dare to challenge you again with yet another fantastic masterpiece revolving around one of Glasgow’s most popular free visitor attraction – Kelvingrove Art Museum and Gallery.

By now, you might be well aware of the awe, amazement and respect I proudly stand in for Scotland, a country which I solemnly appreciate for its magical, mythical and mystical relevance and absolutely praise for its healthy endeavors, such as doctors prescribing quality time to be spent in nature for a series of conditions raging from depression to diabetes and treating knife crime among young people as health issue, an inspired strategy which has led to a dramatic decrease in stabbings across the country. If these facts don’t impress you, I don’t know what will but I am giving it a try anyway.

By now, I have taken you higher on the wings of good fortune and wild imagination above two of Scotland’s most famous and impressive castles, Stirling and Inveraray. We have admired the world famous Unicorn Tapestries together and cat-walked elegantly through extravagant decors pertaining to the iconic Duke of Argyll Gothic Revival country mansion, we have deepened the symbolical meaning enriching the historical references and mystified every peculiar detail in order to set the tone high for the fabulous surprises forthcoming.

Now it is time for another superb jewel embellishing Scotland’s crown of significance, the outstanding Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, the country’s most visited free attraction. With 22 themed, state-of-the-art galleries displaying an astonishing 8000 objects, the collections are extensive, wide-ranging and internationally-significant, as you will have the pleasure to discover in my dedicated blog post.
They include natural history, arms and armour, art from many art movements and periods of history and much more. Welcome to Heaven, my Lords of the Isles!

Royal Endeavors – Château de Versailles

AAB0AF35-B615-480F-A7F8-2A9660C58DC5“When a Frenchman reads of the garden of Eden, I do not doubt but he concludes it was something approaching to that of Versailles, with clipped hedges, berceaus, and trellis work.”
– Horace Walpole

My beloved audience,

As much as you would like to go on and on and on about so many exquisite locations to visit around the world, the highlight of them all in regards to decadent opulence and gold is the fabulous Palais de Versailles, Château or whatever you want to name it – the crown jewel of France – Heaven on Earth. Dripping with gilt and marble, the colossal palace was the singular vision of Louis XIV, the almighty Sun King, whose lavish, lusty lifestyle mirrored his global ambition for France in the 17th century. It is one of the most distinguished palaces that enchanted my thirst for Beauty, Myth and Glory with an impressive story to tell – claimed and acclaimed an UNESCO World Heritage Site (1979) –  a place of legend and lore which will never cease to impress millions of tourists yearly with its pompous and luxurious style. All that glitters is gold.

“To the public imagination, Versailles is the epitome of opulence,” said Louise Boisen Schmidt, a Denmark-based writer at This is Versailles. “It represents an age in French history of both France’s rise as a fashion and power center as well as the dramatic — and bloody — decline of the monarchy.”
