Have the Courage to be Disliked

“Leaders lead in face of discomfort, leaders lead in face of disagreement, leaders lead in face of breakdown.
It’s not a convenient job, it’s a job of conviction and service.”

– Lisa Nichols

My beloved audience,

Absorbed by the delicate remembrance of royal endeavors, bathing in the afterglow of my impressions, I have disregarded the trials and tribulations of my evolution, which deserves a warm and honest praise, without a shadow of complaint – this is a future forward fashion throwback to the hype of the former days,  as my signature never goes out of style and time is just man made.

I have decided to celebrate my personal development, professional accomplishments and wellbeing through this distictive photoshooting with the world famous photographer Cornel Lazia, an artist devoted to surprise the fierceful elegance of my presence behind a healthy dosis of multi-layered animal prints.
The truth is it takes courage to unfold a character, as well as a public dosis of stamina and I have come a long way not to step into the power of my greater purpose, to which the whole Universe resonates.

I have started blogging three years ago, with three eyes on my mind to glow, since public displays of investment are quite low and shallow. My mission has always been to inspire a generous wave of personal growth, as each stepping stone we face births the context in which we become more. Some of you know I have always been more – way too much to handle when the less is more. I can’t even complain because fortune favors the bold and my voice rings the bells into the depth of your souls. That’s a gift only I can endure.

This is the story of how I grow, glow and flow.

Royal Endeavors – Istanbul – The Ultimate Shopping Guide

Processed with VSCO with c8 preset

“If one had but a single glance to give the world, one should gaze on Istanbul.”
– Alphonse de Lamartine

My esteemed audience,

I am thrilled to welcome you to the final part of the discovery journey delving deep into the fullfiled wishes of the mesmerizing city of Istanbul – I promise this enchanting post to be a delight for the sight and food for your souls. Given my latest tendency to sprinkle wits and bites of conscious shopping over my Royal Endeavors events, while still promoting chic means of sustainability one can easily afford, I made the commitment to deliver an exclusive www. episode on the Ultimate Guide of Shopping, dedicated to the art lovers and thrill seekers willing to expand their horizons and beautify their homes.

In a world struggling to overcome the last bursts of consumerism shoved down our throats through aggressive media and misinformation, the art of making conscious choices becomes a gift, a blessing and a purpose.
I honor the difference of opinions and perspectives but that doesn’t have to lead to a lack of personality while emphasising a casual taste just to fit into a predefined mould, therefore I am willing to promote handicrafts which will definitely capture everyone’s attention, rich in aspects regarding tradition and symbolism.

I believe an elegant manner to support the countries we are visiting is to invest in their local services and manufacturing, as means to keep traditional art alive and solid. I kindly advise you not to settle for the Chinese cheaper souvenirs, when you can make memories count with handcrafted ceramics and luxurious textiles.

Every choice matters and traveling certainly opens the universe of self-awareness, deepening senses, refining tastes and strengthening cultural awareness and diversity, thus contributing to a country’s sense of sustainability.

Once you witness the beauty of Turkey in all its glory, it will be hard to leave the sweet memories behind without purchasing some Turkish souvenirs to spark conversations and act as a magical portal that is reminiscent of the wonders you had experienced.
Please remember everything is negotiable to an extend of -50%, unless clearly specified otherwise.

“All other cities are mortal, but I think Istanbul shall be eternal as long as mankind exists.”

Royal Endeavors – Turnu Monastery

Processed with VSCO with c7 preset

“Silently, one by one, in the infinite meadows of heaven,
Blossomed the lovely stars, the forget-me-nots of the angels.”

– Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Ladies and gentlemen,

It is with great pleasure I announce the launch of a fresh Royal Endeavors episode on Saint Parascheva Feast Day – the patron of embroiderers, needle workers, spinners, weavers and marriage, dedicated to the wonderful Saturday I had recently spent with my family visiting the imposing Turnu Monastery, one of the most sacred Christian monastic dwellings of the Râmnic Diocese, sheltered by Cozia Mountain – a very remote and unreachable place for centuries.

I will begin this spiritual journey by mentioning how the blissful resonance of highly charged places of worship, infused with the pure energy lingering from noble acts such as divine communion, gratitude and prayer, always satisfies the soul’s hunger for hope, reason and inner freedom. As pilgrims find shelter in faith and strength in belief, I will always choose to surrender to the warmth of peace when I step into a temple of any religion.

#PrincessaPetra x @Pivotal.Pivotal for Dialog Pivotal

Ladies and gentlemen,

It is my pleasure to introduce to you the new and uprising electronic music platform – Pivotal – whose purpose is to create space, opportunities and momentum for self-education through creating valuable content and sharing concepts and ideas between clubbing scene afficionados – from DJs to promoters and from club owners to night lovers.

The first exclusive conference which supports the new movement aims to engage outstanding members of the clubbing community into an opened discussion regarding the evolution of the Romanian electronic music scene by taking a honest yet nostalgic look at how a memorable night looked like 15-20 years ago and how certain influences, whether incidents, events, communities, clubs or endeavors, shaped the contemporary clubbing experience.

Royal Endeavors – Horezu Legacy

Processed with VSCO with c7 preset

“My new deliberate and slower pace has created a higher quality in my experiences.”
– Lisa J. Shultz

Ladies and gentlemen,

Following the resounding success of the previous Royal Endevors exclusive episode, dedicated to the marvelous experience La Conac by AIO Living, comes this fabulous edition devoted to my recent family adventure to Horezu and its beautiful surroundings, fully charged with historic symbolism and a deep sense of authenticity. The historical landmarks to be revealed mark the outstanding representation of our national culture, proudly facing the test of time for centuries, while promoting strong values and embracing the solemn rhythm of tranquility and spiritual communion.

In this Royal Endevors episode, I will proceed to magically enchant you with the breathtaking view of Museum Complex of Maldaresti, the splendid interiors of Horezu Monastery, exclusively captured due to a striking synchronicity, all followed by fortune tales of the lovely dinner we had at Pastravaria Romani, a superb location offering a single dish – menu of the day – including the one of a kind experience of chosing your own fish out of a pond in order for it to be freshly cooked.

Royal Endeavors – La Conac by AIO Living

“Just as writing can become calligraphy when it’s creatively, skillfully, and consciously performed, so can all other activities become art. In this case, we are reflecting upon life itself as an artistic statement—the art of living.”
H.E. Davey

Dear ladies and gentlemen,

After the successful Monumentalist Tour in Craiova, which created the premises of gaining deep insight and uncensored access to some of the most astonishing historical landmarks of my hometown – imposing buildings proudly standing the test of time – followed a surprise afterparty, a delightful occasion to thrill and chill in an emblematic mansion not far from my home city, opened to endless possibilities of cultural enrichment and creative leisure, fit for anything the mind can imagine.

The mansion, untouched by cold-hearted modernization but in tune with a comforting touch of essential utility, brilliantly complements the solitary area of an eclectic village in terms of cultural awareness and diversity, leaving just enough space to delight its guests with the art of richly living in a joyous intimacy.

AIO living had raised the bar for a high quality sensorial experience, by channeling its outstanding decorative instincts into creating a perfect getaway for traveling back in time, where the distinguished means of entertainment fed the soul with courageous displays of connaissance in terms of culinary delights and creative pursuits, with the purpose of delighting the guests and enchanting the spirits.

Royal Endeavors – Monumentalist Craiova

Processed with VSCO with g6 preset
PrincessaPetra @ Nicolae Romanescu House, Craiova

“If we, citizens, do not support our artists, then we sacrifice our imagination on the altar of crude reality and we end up believing in nothing and having worthless dreams.”
– Yann Martel

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

It gives me a great sense of accomplishment to present this enlightened Royal Endeavors episode, marked by the Monumentalist guided tour of my controversial yet distinguished hometown, Craiova, an exclusive blog post lovingly dedicated to my grandfather, Mugur Iordache, who had recently and graciously stepped into the eternal dimension.

He was a brilliant mathematician and a highly-reputed professor, with a remarkable career which spaned over decades of proudly serving his community by educating many generations of young minds to master the complexity and art of mathematics.

He lead a very respectful, organized life, beat collon cancer for good over thirteen years ago with much pride and courage and never stopped challenging his strength to walk for miles every day in the park until his last one, leading everyone by the power of his example of never giving up.

He was also my greatest Social Media admirer, always dropping encouraging comments while showing off my pics to my grandmother, therefore I strongly feel there is no better ocassion to pay homage to his loving memory than to dedicate the exclusive Monumentalist Craiova fabulous episode to him.

Firstly because there are many misconceptions about my home town, mostly based on violent incidents and bad news in the media, which denigrate its noble and rich intellectual history and elegant architectural legacy. Unfortunately, ordinary people who feed on such news may have no idea about the important landmarks the 6th largest city of Romania prides itself with.

There are countless historical and cultural sites in Craiova that can keep the traveler intrigued therefore my goal is to surprise my audience and lastingly impress it with some of the most somptuous edifices worthy of its time and attention, landmarks which I had the absolute pleasure of visiting during the Monumentalist Tour.

This eclectic journey would not have been possible without the initiative of AIO living and the brilliant guidance of Alexandru Buzatu, my former high school colleague, brilliant architect and devoted guide and of course, the Monumentalist movement.

Let’s now proceed with the discovery of the wonderful Craiova city.

“In Europe the rich are refined enough to act as if they’re not wealthy. That is how civilized people behave. If you ask me, being cultured and civilized is not about everyone being free and equal; it’s about everyone being refined enough to act as if they were. Then no one has to feel guilty.”
– Orhan Pamu
