Charles Chaplin – A Beauty with Doves (19th century)
Dear ladies and gentlemen,
Happy Happy 2019!!! I am confident this will be an exceptional year for all of us, sprinkled with high levels of awareness, creativity, talent, self-confidence, enlightenment, important breakthroughs, countless blessings and endless opportunities to shed the aged thinking and behavior patterns, along with 365 chances to be truthful to ourselves and others and daily manifest Joy, success and abundance into our lives.
“Be at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let every new year find you a better man.”
This is my first spiritual blog post of 2K19 and it gives me nothing but a great sense of reverence towards the Universe for the inspiration to deliver it to you in the first month of the year and initiate its manifestation into writing on the 11th day.
You do know how fascinated I am with synchronicities and numerology, therefore it shouldn’t come as a great surprise this particular day is charged with the great energy of alignment. Moreover, I am delivering this spiritual guidance on my 3rd year blog anniversary. I had no idea I started it on the 13th of January but WordPress just reminded me of this precious notification highlighted in fuchsia. I have no idea if I chose the color myself or it is one of the Universe’s great mysteries but it surely gives me hope for the best (as always), as well as the white dove appearing in my dream last night. I am not sure if I have mentioned the two eclipses of this month yet but there is serious astrological evidence there is real magic floating in the fresh air of winter. There is also an abundance of snow beautifying the grey streets of Bucharest, while I am hanging out most of my time with my precious puppy, Joy.
“Some changes look negative on the surface but you will soon realize that space is being created in your life for something new to emerge.”
― Eckhart Tolle
In my last editorial, I have mentioned one of my prophetic dream and a rejection e-mail I have received after a job application, a job which I therefore assumed it did not represent me. Instead of whining for having the extra knowledge and expertise necessary for the job, I decided to be grateful the Universe has my best interests at heart. Apparently so did the HR representative who has contacted me again, this time for a regional position (first one was local). After a meaningful talk (the actual job interview) while answering a delicate set of questions I sense other candidates would have felt uncomfortable with, I felt very pleased with myself and the quality of recruitment process, led by a professional who showed real interest into my professional value.
I answered the questions in all honesty because honesty is the best policy and Truth should be featured on my business card as I feel it is what should be expected of me at any time. Thanks to God for all my education and emotional intelligence which enables me to tell the truth elegantly, in a respectful manner, without offending anyone’s opinions or feelings. I also appreciate my maturity of not doing so on purpose. Given my experience and background, she has mentioned even a higher position for which I could be recruited, which definitely sounds promising. I have mentioned this particular example in order to exemplify the Universe has in mind a greater purpose for us when some things don’t go according to our personal plan – a better opportunity to share our personal and professional value, enhance our natural gifts and talents and shine our unique light.
“Taking a new step, uttering a new word, is what people fear most.”
― Fyodor Dostoevsky
Considering the managerial aspect of my future job, I will initiate this article by mentioning the fact that I have been neglecting a leadership position and its responsibility for a long time until recently.
I am aware of my soft skills and charisma and I am confident now more than ever people are respectful of my example, although given my tumultuous experience with leaders and managers lacking serious soft skills and the basic psychological knowledge necessary in any field which involves fast decision making and people management, I found this professional aim to create a sense of accomplishment mostly for those individuals with challenged identity issues, who would rather identify with their job status or money.
Since I have come to my senses after a professional break to rethink my options, restore my Faith and recharge my enthusiasm, I remembered the old saying (perhaps religious) that any natural gift or talent which is not practiced or put to good use will be lost – after all these years invested in personal development, “lost” is a term which does not match my personal dictionary. Nor do “mistakes” or “faults”.
How did I reach to this conclusion?
Obviously I had to change my perspective.
How did it happen?
Apparently easily, given my interest in positive psychology and spirituality and the commitment to practice the Universal Law of Change I will cover through this blog post. I suggest directing all the Energy towards the greater good of others and yourselves, investing time and thought into designing a personal idea of abundance and success and implementing it largely into the day-to-day living. Please have in mind this is not a difficult task but it does require a certain level of thought awareness and practice/exercise. There is one simple rule – just let all thoughts accompany the image envisioned for the future.
Given my experience with the Art of Visualization, the Bliss of Manifestation and the Magnetic Power of Words, the abundance and success we are seeking are easily reachable only if the time and quality of thoughts are wisely orientated towards the Sun, facing the grand purpose, which needs to be flexible to the outcome and abiding to the laws of the Universe. I have specifically provided a personal example in order to depict how certain events which apparently might not please us are marking us safe from a potential harm, displeasure or an inadequate setting for proceeding according to the purpose or the divine plan.
Nevertheless, one should always have Faith in heart and mind and be confident something much greater is already on its way.
“Incredible change happens in your life when you decide to take control of what you do have power over instead of craving control over what you don’t.”
― Steve Maraboli
The Law of Change
“The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.”
― Albert Einstein
Life is evolution. The evolution is not something which happens outside of us, along the millenniums, but “here and now” and every second. We are not spectators but actors to this wonderful change. Change is the only constant of this game called life – we are continually changing and evolving through change. Change takes place through the perfect agreement of three instances: “keep, release and renew”.
Reality is ready to receive any of form – it is only waiting for instructions. Change is the common element of all life forms. If we oppose ourselves to it, the flow of energy remains hidden, blocked, provoking crisis, problems and desease. While we are changing ourselves, we create transformation.
“Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.”
― Lao Tzu
Why do we fear change? When we hang on to something which does not pertain to us, we make it hard on ourselves to carry the burden. Our body rejoices every second, each cell. We deposit nutrition and energy as we renew ourselves every night by eliminating the energy of the inferior order.
Although we are not the same person we were three years ago, we have preserved our personality. Physically we are constantly changing although we esentially remain ourselves. Our body respects the law of “keep, release, renew”.
In order to release any aspect which no longer serves us, an identification is required in order to know what must be kept and what needs to be liberated as no longer matching our development.
“You’re always you, and that don’t change, and you’re always changing, and there’s nothing you can do about it.”
― Neil Gaiman
Many people identify themselves with their material posessions, their fortunes. They are their fortune. The faster we identify more with ourselves, our essence, the better we eliminate the burden, obsession, addiction of being led by it. That is the moment we realize the connection is based on the fear of uncertainty. The attachment to money and fortune is a clear sign indicating a lack of trust in the Universe. Let’s face it, we can have anything we want but the uncertainty, the emptiness, the search for meaning, the desire for a purposeful living will never fade away, which make us their prisoners for eternity.
To be able to release the past and create space for (a new) life means to acknowledge prosperity. Something good will always follow. We have all the freedom to succeed in whatever we want to do. If we identify with ourselves, we will be released from every bond, trusting that everything that happens is life’s love declaration for us. In the process of identifying with ourselves we will have acknowledged our only certainty, the spring of our life, overflowing with abundance and wealth. This certainty does not seek confirmation from outside. Even more, uncertainty becomes the elixir of life, of adventure and challenge. We exit our comfort zone to welcome the unexpected, which is always surprising but this is how life becomes happiness.
“You can’t stop the future
You can’t rewind the past
The only way to learn the secret
…is to press play.”
― Jay Asher
The release is a natural step for the creation. When we are offering instructions to life, when we desire change and envision it, it happens in the same way as the use of a post office. We must leave the order in the post box and release it. Without this action, the order does not exist. In the same manner, when we are tossing an arrow to hit a target, we must release the bow for everything to happen. To release means to trust life and the certainty all you have hoped for will appear.
What should be released? Obviously fear and the desire to control; stress and the struggle; negative feelings and emotions such as self-blame, guilt, injustice, anger, inferiority, violence, disease; negative thoughts as the consciousness of sacrifice, deception, vanity, envy, egoism, materialism, judgement, conviction, problems, dishonesty, lies, a negative self-image; questionable behaviors such as seeking pleasure, inadequate discussions, inadequate wishes, the lost of purpose; our own volition and expectations.
“Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.”
― Barack Obama
The change happens while we distract our attention from anything we don’t want to happen and focus on what we wish to manifest, on what is necessary to happen. This is a process which transforms problems into opportunities, worries into solutions, the disease into health, by changing lack into abundance, failures into success, dissatisfaction into accomplishment, ego into our self-identification, the present moment into ideal and any possibility into reality.
Change requires clarity and the clarification of purpose. Prior to obtaining the result, we must choose what needs changing. If we know the purpose, we will find the way. Attention and Creativity must be focused in the same direction. The majority of people focus their attention towards the hardships, therefore they are perpetually creating new ones.
Fulfilling a wish, different possibilities of professional success, fame and fortune, money and power, as well as other different goals, the wish to have a baby, the development of a partnership – any intention can be experienced with the help of imagination. We can envision the feeling of fulfillment and verify if it is what we really want in order for change to take place. We can also visualize the obstacles, experimenting with those which might occur on the way to the purpose and resolve them prior from happening.
We can change the whole world through changing ourselves. This is our chance to call out problems while experiencing reality in order to acknowledge the true nature of our desires.
“For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again.”
― Eric Roth
What does it teach me?
“The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.”
― Alan Wilson Watts
We must willingly embrace the The Law of Change and be comfortable with it. After all, it is the only dynamic of the Universe we can be certain of. Changes can be initiated through choice, will and practice and the most important aspect is flowing with them and not against them into the dance of life. There are three main factors that are the causes of change in our life: choice, chance and crisis. The change by choice reduces the possibilities for it to happen by chance or crisis. The change by choice allows us to navigate our life with greater dexterity, being vigilant in looking for changes that would help us, and then being proactive in initiating them. Nothing remains the same – in business or our relationships with our friends, children, parents, spouses or co-workers; all of them are in the process of becoming something else. Through using the dynamics of choice we can choose to deepen and enrich the relationships that are important to us. The same rationale applies to professional aspects, products and business. If we don’t initiate change, life will do it for us.
Choosing to enrich our spirituality by practices, prayer and study, and making this an active part of our life, we reap the rewards. Therefore we should identify aspects of life that would respond favorably to change, and then activate that change, putting ourselves in harmony with the greater laws of the universe. That is how choice is used to change. We are actively participating and becoming the Law of Change in our own life.
“To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often.”
― Winston S. Churchill
